Lining and patching

CleanSeas Jet-Scan offers a unique "part lining" system to rehabilitate sections of defective pipe as identified by closed-circuit television (CCTV) inspection.  Part lining involves the installation of an ambient cure resin-impregnated fibreglass tube using an inflatable bladder; this modern trenchless method is much more convenient and less time-consuming than traditional techniques.  The patch liner cures in place and is used in the renovation of laterals and pipes of varying diameters, for lining manholes and for localised repairs.  It results in a tight-fitting lining that is resistant to corrosion, abrasion and chemicals, with a glass-like finish that guarantees minimum reduction in hydraulic capacity.

Lateral sealing

CleanSeas Jet-Scan's newly-developed lateral sealing unity is a pneumatically-operated robotic unit that uses an epoxy grout mixture.  A punched sleeve is installed directly over a lateral opening or crack.  The unit then injects epoxy mortar into defective or illegal house connections, sealing these with maximum speed and efficiency.

Both systems are designed to improve the structural integrity of pipelines while preventing further deterioration and infiltration.
